He also noted that Verstappen's current complaints are different from those of other top teams, as they are at the front of the grid. Russell can understand why Verstappen might want to explore other racing opportunities, such as GT3 endurance racing, which he has already started to do. With 19 races remaining in the season, Russell is aware that Mercedes' early advantage will not last indefinitely, and he expects the competition to heat up as the season progresses.
