A minute of silence will be observed before the start of Sunday's second four-hour race, following a fatal accident involving driver Juha Miettinen on Saturday. Verstappen, who led the tributes to the 66-year-old, has joined forces with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing. This marks his fourth GT3 outing in the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. With the F1 season on a break in April, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 schedule. It's worth noting that Verstappen has previously competed in GT3 machinery in the NLS, securing a win on his debut last September in a Ferrari 296 GT3 car alongside Britain's Chris Lulham.
