Conor Benn has officially joined Zuffa Boxing, signing a deal that will see him compete in multiple fights over the next two and a half years. This partnership comes after Benn's successful collaboration with Zuffa for his recent bout against Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he secured a 10-round victory.
Benn has a history of competing at the stadium, having previously fought Chris Eubank Jr. in two epic battles.
He initially moved up to middleweight to face Eubank Jr., losing the first fight but winning the rematch via decision after dropping Eubank Jr. twice.
Following his victory over Eubank Jr., Benn moved down in weight to face Prograis at 150lbs, as he sets his sights on major fights in the welterweight division. Dana White, Head of Zuffa Boxing, confirmed that Benn has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, comprising five fights.
White expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that he personally and professionally likes Benn and is excited about the deal. Benn also expressed his excitement, stating that he is looking forward to working with Zuffa Boxing and giving the public the fights they want.
With this move, Benn leaves Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing after nearly a decade and joins Dana White's new promotional powerhouse, marking a significant shift in the boxing industry.
