Dubois Claims Baumgardner is Intimidated by Potential Fight

Caroline Dubois believes Alycia Baumgardner is intimidated by the prospect of facing her in the ring later this year. Dubois has expressed her desire to fight Baumgardner, but thinks her opponent will struggle against Shin. 'She's fighting one of my past opponents, someone I've already beaten,' Dubois stated. 'I want her to win, as she's a big name who promotes fights well, and that's why people want to fight her.' However, Dubois also thinks Shin will give Baumgardner a tough time, saying, 'Knowing how tough Bo is, I think it will be a hard fight. I think Bo will expose what I know and what I see.' Dubois is increasing the pressure on Baumgardner to agree to a fight, saying, 'She doesn't want the fight. Every time you hear Alycia Baumgardner's name, my name is constantly mentioned. They're calling for Alycia versus Caroline Dubois. I don't know why we shouldn't give the fans what they want.' Dubois will continue to verbally challenge Baumgardner, stating, 'I don't think I play the villain. I think I play confident, and people are triggered by that. I'm just saying the truth and expressing how I feel.' If a fight with Baumgardner can't be made, Dubois has other options, including a potential match against Elif Nur Turhan, the IBF champion at 135lbs. 'I don't think she's a good fighter, but she's very dangerous. I don't think the fight is hard, but it's exciting due to the danger,' Dubois said. 'I want to continue progressing and be involved in the biggest fights to create a great legacy for myself.'
