Bournemouth Eyes Replacement for Iraola with Rose as Top Contender

Marco Rose is reportedly the leading candidate to succeed Andoni Iraola as Bournemouth's head coach. The club has a shortlist of three potential replacements, which also includes Kieran McKenna from Ipswich. Bournemouth aims to appoint Iraola's successor quickly after confirming his departure at the end of his contract. Rose, who was sacked by RB Leipzig in March 2025, is available and has Champions League experience. McKenna, meanwhile, is focused on promotion with Ipswich. Another admired candidate, Inigo Perez, is not currently on the shortlist. Iraola will leave Bournemouth after a successful three-year tenure, during which he guided the team to a ninth-placed finish in the Premier League and set a new club-record points tally. The club is looking to replace him with a coach who can build on this success and potentially lead them to European competition.
