Red Bull Revamps Technical Team

Red Bull has unveiled a restructuring of its technical department, aimed at bolstering its commitment to performance and innovation. Ben Waterhouse, who has been with the team since 2017, will take on an expanded leadership role as chief performance and design engineer, reporting to technical director Pierre Wache. This move is expected to enhance the integration of design and vehicle performance, leading to faster development of high-performance solutions. Additionally, Andrea Landi will join the team on July 1 as head of performance, bringing experience from his previous roles at Racing Bulls and Ferrari. These changes underscore the team's long-term technical objectives, emphasizing the development of internal talent and the recruitment of top expertise from the sport. The team currently sits sixth in the Constructors' Championship, facing a challenging start to the new era of F1 regulations.
