Fitzpatrick Takes the Lead After Second Round of RBC Heritage

Matt Fitzpatrick has taken the top spot on the leaderboard after the second round of the RBC Heritage, shooting an impressive eight-under-par 63. The English golfer's round was marked by eight birdies, including a notable 36-foot putt on the 15th hole, all without a single bogey at Hilton Head. Following an opening round of 65, Fitzpatrick started Friday in a six-way tie for third but now leads the tournament at 14 under par. Viktor Hovland of Norway trails closely behind, retaining his second-place position with a score of 65 in the second round. Meanwhile, overnight leader Ludvig Aberg slipped to a joint-fourth position after encountering three bogeys on the back nine. Robert MacIntyre of Scotland is six shots behind Fitzpatrick after scoring a 68, and world number one Scottie Scheffler is seven shots off the lead with a 67.
