McIlroy Vows to Improve in Pursuit of Masters Title

Rory McIlroy acknowledged the need for improvement if he is to successfully defend his Masters title, following a disappointing third round that saw him relinquish a six-shot lead. McIlroy's one-over par 73 left him tied with Cameron Young at 11 under, and he expressed his determination to bounce back on the final day. Despite struggling with his irons and making three bogeys, including a double bogey at the 11th, McIlroy remains optimistic about his chances. He stated, "I still have a great chance, I'm in the final group, which is exactly where you want to be." McIlroy believes that having won the title last year and being paired with a different group will aid his chances, allowing him to play more freely.
