Baumgardner Sets Sights on Taylor, Serrano, and Mayer: 'Bring Them On!'
Unified super-featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner is chasing the most high-profile fights in the sport, with her sights set on Katie Taylor, Amanda Serrano, and Mikaela Mayer. 'Those are all great fights, let's make them happen,' Baumgardner exclaimed. The American boxer considers these fights a higher priority than a potential matchup against Britain's unified lightweight world champion Caroline Dubois. 'I'm focused on the biggest fights, and Dubois isn't ready yet,' Baumgardner stated. Before pursuing these big names, Baumgardner must first defend her WBA, WBO, and IBF super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin at the Madison Square Garden Theater in New York. Baumgardner is confident in her abilities, saying 'I'm hungrier, meaner, and sharper' than her opponent. Shin, however, is determined to ruin Baumgardner's plans and claim the titles for herself. 'Alycia has always been my goal, and now it's time to take her belts,' Shin said.
