Canadian boxer Ryan Rozicki, known for his formidable punching power, has inked a multi-fight contract with Zuffa Boxing. This move adds Rozicki to the company's impressive cruiserweight lineup, which already features champion Jai Opetaia, former titleholder Chris Billam-Smith, and top contender Brandon Glanton.
Rozicki, nicknamed 'The Bruiser', boasts an impressive record with 21 professional wins, 20 of which have been knockouts. His only loss came at the hands of Oscar Rivas in 2021. Since then, Rozicki has remained undefeated in nine consecutive fights, frequently performing in front of packed crowds in Nova Scotia. Notably, he drew against Yamil Alberto Peralta in a WBC interim title bout in 2024.
Rozicki's notable victories include a win over Olanrewaju Durodola, who had previously gone the distance with notable boxers Richard Riakporhe and Ilunga Makabu. His most recent bout saw him knock out Gerardo Mellado in the second round. Rozicki expressed his enthusiasm for joining Zuffa Boxing, stating, 'I'm excited for this new chapter and the opportunity to be part of what Zuffa is building.
My team has done an incredible job getting me to this point, and I'm ready to make a statement on this big platform.' Details of his Zuffa Boxing debut are expected to be announced soon.
