I Am Maximus has made history by becoming the first horse to reclaim the Grand National title since the legendary Red Rum, following a thrilling 2026 Randox Grand National. The race saw its share of early drama, including Grangeclare West and Panic Attack falling at the first and third fences, respectively. I Am Maximus, ridden by Paul Townend, took the inside path and eventually overtook the competition to secure his second Grand National win, having also finished second the previous year.
