Rybakina, the 2026 Australian Open champion, will face Karolina Muchova in Sunday's final. The match was closely contested, with both players exchanging breaks in the first set before Rybakina's experience prevailed, allowing her to take the lead. Rybakina then dominated the second set, winning the first five games and cruising to a composed victory. 'It feels great, I'm really happy,' Rybakina said. 'I missed this tournament last year, so I'm glad to be in the final.' Despite not getting to bed until 2am on Friday night after her quarter-final match against Leylah Fernandez, Rybakina was pleased with her performance.
