The final standings from the Masters tournament, the first major of the year, held at the renowned Augusta National in Georgia. Defending champion Rory McIlroy made history by successfully retaining his title, becoming the first player to achieve this feat since Tiger Woods.
McIlroy edged out world number one Scottie Scheffler by a single stroke, while Tyrrell Hatton, Justin Rose, Cameron Young, and Russell Henley trailed behind. The top 10 was rounded out by Collin Morikawa, Sam Burns, Max Homa, and Xander Schauffele.
This year's Masters was the first of four consecutive monthly majors in men's golf, followed by the PGA Championship, US Open, and The Open. The PGA Tour now heads to South Carolina for the RBC Heritage, with Justin Thomas returning to defend his title.
The next major, the PGA Championship, is set to take place from May 14-17 at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania.
