Nicky Richards Seeks to Extend Winning Streak at Hexham

Following a remarkable eight consecutive wins, Nicky Richards is set to send three horses to compete in the National Hunt events at Hexham on Monday. Jamesieconn, part of Richards' team, will participate in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase, seeking to secure a fourth consecutive victory. Having recently won at Carlisle, Jamesieconn has been assigned a new mark of 100 after being nudged up 5lbs, which may prove to be a challenge. However, with Danny McMenamin as his mount, Jamesieconn may still rise to the occasion. Streamsforth Lad, despite not having secured a win in his 18 starts, has shown improvement and will participate in the event. Meanwhile, Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will also compete, having achieved a level-stakes profit of +298 over the last two weeks. Nicky Richards will also send out Young Getaway to participate in the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, marking the horse's chasing debut. That One, who will also make his debut over fences, will be competing against Young Getaway. Other notable participants include Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, fielded by the Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore combination, as well as Grant Wood, who has been successful in his recent visits to Gosforth Park. Wicket Keeper, Paddy's Day, and Albasheer will also be participating in the events, with Gardener returning for the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle at 4:30 pm.
