Oxagon Scores Impressive Craven Stakes Win for Gosden Team

Oxagon made a strong case for the 2000 Guineas with a dominant front-running win in the Betway Craven Stakes. The victory marked a successful seasonal debut for Oxagon, who had not been seen since finishing last behind Hawk Mountain at Doncaster in October. With the aid of cheekpieces for the first time and a controlling ride by Oisin Murphy, Oxagon comfortably won by two lengths. Trainer John Gosden expressed his delight, stating that Oxagon has always had a high opinion of him and the addition of cheekpieces has focused his mind.
