Red Bull Revamps Technical Team

Red Bull has unveiled a major overhaul of its technical team, aiming to bolster its performance and innovation capabilities. Ben Waterhouse, who has been with the team since 2017 as head of performance engineering, will take on an expanded leadership role as chief performance and design engineer, reporting to technical director Pierre Wache. This move is expected to enhance the integration of design and vehicle performance, driving the development of high-performing solutions. Meanwhile, Andrea Landi will join the team from Racing Bulls on July 1 as head of performance, bringing his experience from Ferrari and reporting to Waterhouse. These changes are part of Red Bull's long-term technical strategy, focusing on internal talent development and attracting top expertise from the sport. The team has faced a challenging start to the new F1 era, currently sitting sixth in the Constructors' Championship, and has seen key staff members leave for rival teams in recent years.
