Conor Benn has officially joined Zuffa Boxing, signing a multi-fight contract that spans several years. This partnership comes after Benn's successful collaboration with Zuffa for his recent 10-round victory against former two-time world champion Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Benn had previously worked with Zuffa for this bout, which marked his third consecutive fight at the football ground, following his epic clashes with Chris Eubank Jr. The boxer had revived his family's rivalry with the Eubanks in two fights last year, moving up to middleweight and initially losing to Eubank Jr, but then securing a decision victory in their rematch. Benn then moved down in weight to face Prograis at 150lbs, as he sets his sights on major fights in the welterweight division.
Dana White, Head of Zuffa Boxing, confirmed that Benn has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal, which includes five fights. White expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating that he personally and professionally likes Benn and is excited about the collaboration.
Benn also expressed his excitement about the deal, stating that Zuffa shares his vision for the future and that he is eager to give the public the fights they want, particularly now that he is in the prime of his career at 29 years old.
