Despite his win, Peaty acknowledged there is still room for improvement, stating, 'I didn't think I could achieve that result, so that's the new benchmark.' The six-time Olympic medalist expressed his desire to push himself further, saying, 'I'm a racer, and I strive to bring out the best in myself.' Peaty, who has been training diligently, emphasized his passion for swimming, saying, 'I'm heavily invested in the sport and train almost every day.' Having taken a break from swimming in 2023 due to mental health concerns, Peaty has reaffirmed his commitment to the sport.
