Hollie Doyle: Zavateri Tops the Greenham Field

This weekend, I have a packed schedule with several promising rides. My day begins at Thirsk, where I'll be riding two horses for my boss, Archie Watson. First up is Niewiadoma, a two-year-old filly making her debut in the British EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes. I've had the pleasure of riding her in preparation, and I'm impressed with her natural speed and attitude. Although it's challenging to gauge the competition, I'm optimistic about her chances. Later, I'll be riding Merlier in the Stirrup Bar For Deli-Style Dining Packages Handicap. Having won his last two starts, he's been progressive on the All-Weather, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he performs in a handicap for the first time. Another notable ride is Warm Spell in the Join Racing TV Today Handicap, who has been eased to a career-low mark and has a good chance of going close. I'm also excited to ride for veteran trainer Wilf Storey, who supported me during my early days as an apprentice. I'll be on his course and distance winner Idyllic in the Happy 21st Birthday Lily Watkinson Handicap. Meanwhile, at Newbury, I'm keen to see Zavateri in action in the Watership Down Stud Too Darn Hot Greenham Stakes. As the standard-setter, he's the one to beat after his impressive win in the Group 1 National Stakes in Ireland. I'm also interested in the Group 3 Dubai Duty Free Stakes, where several fillies have similar prospects. Touleen, in particular, has the potential to do well, but she'll need to be at her best to win. Finally, I'm hoping to see Urban Lion build on his win in the Lincoln by adding the Win Unique Experiences At OLBG Prizes Spring Cup Handicap, and I expect Shout to fare better than he did at Doncaster.
