Conor Benn Inks Multi-Year Contract with Zuffa Boxing
Conor Benn has officially signed a multi-fight, multi-year agreement with Zuffa Boxing. Following his recent 10-round victory over two-time world champion Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Benn has pledged his future to the promotional company. This partnership marks a new chapter in Benn's career, having previously worked with Zuffa Boxing for his most recent bout. Notably, this was his third consecutive fight at the football ground, preceded by two epic battles with Chris Eubank Jr. Benn's family rivalry with the Eubanks was rekindled last year when he faced Chris Eubank Jr twice, first losing but then gaining revenge with a decision victory. After moving down in weight, Benn defeated Prograis at 150lbs, setting his sights on major fights in the welterweight division. Dana White, Head of Zuffa Boxing, confirmed that Benn has joined the company on a two-and-a-half-year contract, comprising five fights. White expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, 'I like the kid personally and professionally, so we are excited about it.' Benn also shared his excitement, saying, 'I am very excited to have got this deal done. They share the same vision, and they are excited for the future.' This move marks a significant shift for Benn, who is leaving Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing after nearly a decade to join Dana White's new promotional powerhouse.
