Jake Paul's Promotion May Provide Katie Taylor's Final Opponent

Katie Taylor's final career bout at Dublin's Croke Park could see her face an opponent provided by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. As a two-weight undisputed champion and Olympic gold medallist, Taylor is looking to retire after one more fight, and MVP, boasting the strongest women's boxing roster, may have the ideal opponent for her swan song. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP's co-founder, has suggested Caroline Dubois or the winner of the WBA lightweight title fight between Holly Holm and Stephanie Han as potential opponents. Bidarian noted that the winner of Holm and Han's fight could be a logical choice for Taylor's last bout. With Holm being a 44-year-old UFC champion and former boxer, and Han being a mother and full-time police officer with a remarkable story, both fighters present an exciting opportunity. MVP is keen to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to stage the Croke Park event, with Bidarian expressing his desire to work together to make the fight happen. Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, also proposed for Croke Park, and is instead focused on moving forward with Taylor's fight.
