Jamesieconn, seeking a fourth consecutive win, will participate in the Mick Walsh Open Ditch Handicap Chase. Having demonstrated a preference for three-mile distances and good ground in his previous outing at Carlisle, Jamesieconn has been assigned a new mark of 100 after being raised 5lbs. Despite the added weight, the seven-year-old may still rise to the challenge under jockey Danny McMenamin. Streamsforth Lad, although yet to claim a victory in 18 starts, has shown improvement in his recent performance at Bangor. Meanwhile, Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will attempt to build on the trainer's +298 level-stakes profit over the last two weeks. In the Anthony Woods Electrical Lightning Bolt Handicap Chase, Nicky Richards will field Young Getaway, who is making his debut in chase events. That One, who previously defeated Young Getaway in a hurdle event, will also be making his first start over fences. The Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore partnership will be represented by Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, with the former having consistently placed in recent outings. Grant Wood, trained by Paul Midgley, returns to Gosforth Park, where he has enjoyed success in the past. Wicket Keeper, having found success over six furlongs, will look to improve on his recent fourth-place finish over the course and distance. Paddy's Day will wear a tongue-tie for the first time under trainer Nigel Tinkler, while Albasheer, a previous winner of the Constantine Handicap, will be ridden by Sky Sports Racing ambassador Hollie Doyle. Gardener, who won his previous outing over the course and distance, is set to compete in the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle at 4:30 pm.
