This weekend features a double-header of races in the German track's endurance series. With the F1 schedule paused in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his expanding GT3 calendar. Verstappen has partnered with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Red Bull-liveried Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing. They will compete in a 37-strong GT3 field at the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. A minute of silence will be observed at the start of Sunday's live stream of the second four-hour race, available on skysports.com and the Sky Sports app, following the passing of driver Juha Miettinen after a multi-car incident that led to the suspension of Saturday's race. He previously won on his debut in September, driving a Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Britain's Chris Lulham. On his return to NLS action last month, Verstappen and his teammates, driving the Mercedes, secured a first-place finish but were later disqualified due to exceeding the permitted tyre allocation.
