The English women's rugby team is dealing with a slew of injuries, as Hannah Botterman and May Campbell have been ruled out of the Guinness Women's Six Nations due to ankle and knee issues, respectively. Botterman requires a second operation on her ankle, which she injured in December while playing for Bristol, while Campbell will undergo knee surgery next week.

Additionally, Alex Matthews will miss the upcoming match against Scotland due to a shoulder problem sustained during the 33-12 win over Ireland. To bolster their squad, England has called up Delaney Burns and Liz Crake. These injuries come on the heels of the announcement that Morwenna Talling and Natasha Hunt would miss the remainder of the tournament with leg injuries.

The team is also without several key players from their World Cup-winning squad, including Zoe Stratford, Abbie Ward, and Rosie Galligan, who are all expecting children.
