Ben Woolliss Set for Sky Sports Return After Electrifying ONE Debut

Following his remarkable debut in ONE Championship, Britain's Ben Woolliss is slated to make his highly anticipated return on May 16, broadcast live on Sky Sports. Woolliss is scheduled to face off against Petchtanong Petchfergus in a bantamweight kickboxing match at the Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, which will air live on Sky Sports in the early hours of Saturday, May 16. Notably, Woolliss will be competing against a former ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion in Petchfergus at ONE Fight Night 43. Having overcome long-term health issues, Woolliss, hailing from Grimsby, recently signed with ONE and made his promotional debut just last month. On short notice of nine days, he took on former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker in a featherweight kickboxing bout, securing a spectacular one-round stoppage victory with his damaging low kicks. The main event on May 16 features Chinese star Tang Kai as he defends his ONE featherweight MMA world title for the second time against Shamil "The Cobra" Gasanov. Tang Kai has dominated the featherweight MMA division, while Gasanov boasts a near-flawless record, leveraging his stand-up skills, grappling prowess, and submission expertise to outmaneuver his opponents. After avenging his sole career loss, "The Cobra" is poised to strike, potentially unstoppable in his current form.
