Dubois Claims Baumgardner is Intimidated by Potential Fight

Baumgardner is set to defend her IBF, WBO, and WBA super-featherweight titles against Bo Mi Re Shin in New York. Dubois has expressed her desire to fight Baumgardner, but thinks her opponent will struggle against Shin. 'She's fighting one of my past opponents, someone I've already beaten,' Dubois stated. 'I hope she wins, as she's a prominent figure in the sport and knows how to promote herself.' However, Dubois also acknowledged that Shin will be a tough opponent for Baumgardner. The Londoner is increasing the pressure on Baumgardner to agree to a high-profile match. 'She doesn't want the fight,' Dubois said. 'Whenever Alycia Baumgardner's name is mentioned, people always bring up my name. They're calling for a fight between us, and I don't see why we shouldn't give the fans what they want.' Dubois will continue to verbally challenge Baumgardner, just as she did with Harper. 'I'm not trying to be the villain; I'm just confident in my abilities,' Dubois explained. 'I'm saying what I think, and I'm not afraid to express my feelings.' If a fight with Baumgardner can't be arranged, Dubois has other options, including a potential match against Elif Nur Turhan, the IBF champion at 135lbs. 'I don't think she's a skilled fighter, but she's dangerous,' Dubois said. 'I want to continue progressing and be involved in the biggest fights. I've unified the championships, and I'd love to do it again.'
