Kap Vert Secures Scottish National Gold for Hobbs and White

In a remarkable display, Kap Vert claimed Scotland's most prestigious National Hunt title, with Philip Hobbs and Johnson White emerging victorious. The six-year-old, having only his fifth outing over fences, demonstrated exceptional stamina under Sean Houlihan's guidance, outpacing Git Maker and Kim Roque in the Coral Scottish Grand National. Despite his relative inexperience, Kap Vert's jumping skills withstood scrutiny, whereas Midlands National winner Isaac Des Obeaux faltered, committing a crucial error that led to a fourth-place finish. Git Maker also made a significant mistake, nearly unseating Jonathan Burke, but managed to recover and secure second place, just a length and a half behind the winner, while Kim Roque took third.
