Following his signing with Zuffa Boxing, Chris Billam-Smith has expressed his desire to face Jai Opetaia, aiming to solidify his position as the world's best. Billam-Smith, a former WBO cruiserweight world titleholder, is now set to compete live on Sky Sports. His most recent victory came against Brandon Glanton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. Opetaia, also a Zuffa fighter, recently claimed the inaugural Zuffa world cruiserweight title with a win over Glanton. Billam-Smith is eager to prove his worth, stating that his deal with Zuffa will provide him with the opportunity to take on the best fighters, including Opetaia. With a multi-fight deal in place, Billam-Smith is looking to make his return to the ring after a year-long absence, having been in training camp since January.
