MVP Set to Offer Opponent for Taylor's Career Finale at Croke Park
Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions is poised to provide the opponent for Katie Taylor's swansong fight at Dublin's Croke Park. Having staged the last two contests in Taylor's epic trilogy with Amanda Serrano, MVP boasts the strongest roster in women's boxing. Taylor, an Olympic gold medallist and two-weight undisputed champion, seeks one final bout before retiring, and MVP may have the ideal opponent. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP co-founder, has suggested Caroline Dubois or the winner of Holly Holm's WBA lightweight title fight with Stephanie Han as potential opponents. Bidarian envisions a scenario where the winner of Holm and Han could face Taylor in her last fight, citing the logic of such a matchup. With Holm being a 44-year-old UFC champion and Han being a mother and full-time police officer, both fighters bring compelling stories to the table. Bidarian aims to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to stage the Croke Park event, emphasizing the importance of respecting Taylor's loyalty to her current representation. Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, also proposed for Croke Park, and is instead focused on moving forward with Taylor's career finale.
