Michael van Gerwen is set to face Michael Unterbuchner as he pursues his third Elten Safety Shoes European Darts Grand Prix title in Sindelfingen. The fifth European Tour event of 2026 will feature a 48-player field competing for the £35,000 top prize in Sindelfingen from April 17-19, as Anderson prepares to take center stage once again at the Glaspalast. Key matchups include Josh Rock against Keane Barry, Nathan Aspinall against Jeffrey de Zwaan, and Gian van Veen against Joe Cullen, while Gerwyn Price will face Dave Chisnall. The tournament will continue with Round Two, featuring Mike De Decker against Krzysztof Ratajski, Jermaine Wattimena against Kevin Doets, and Gary Anderson against Niko Springer. The Evening Session will see Ross Smith against Cameron Menzies, Gerwyn Price against Dave Chisnall, and Michael van Gerwen against Michael Unterbuchner. The BetMGM Premier League will also continue, with Luke Littler facing Luke Humphries and Michael van Gerwen taking on Josh Rock. Ranking points will be awarded per night, with the top four players progressing to Finals Night at The O2 in London on May 28.
