With the F1 season on hold in April due to the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 events to his expanding GT3 schedule. He will be joining forces with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Red Bull-livered Mercedes-AMG GT3 car for Verstappen Racing, competing against a strong field of 37 GT3 cars at the infamous 'Green Hell' in the latest rounds of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. You can catch live streams of both four-hour races throughout the weekend on skysports.com and the Sky Sports app.
Saturday's live stream begins at 4pm, with the race starting at 4:30pm, while Sunday's stream starts at 11:30am, with the race commencing at 12pm - all times are UK times. This will be Verstappen's third and fourth outing in GT3 machinery in the NLS, having previously competed in the series. His debut last September saw him claim victory in a Ferrari 296 GT3 car, which he shared with Britain's Chris Lulham.
On his return to NLS action last month, Verstappen and his teammates, driving the Mercedes, secured another first-place finish but were subsequently disqualified due to exceeding the permitted tyre allocation. The Formula 1 season resumes on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the season's second Sprint weekend, which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports F1. You can stream Sky Sports with NOW, with no contract and the option to cancel at any time.
