Clayton Impressed by Littler's Composure in Hostile Rotterdam Crowd

Welsh darts player Jonny Clayton has expressed his admiration for Luke Littler's ability to remain unfazed by a hostile crowd in Rotterdam, as Clayton secured his second consecutive nightly win in the Premier League. Clayton's victory marked his fourth nightly win of the campaign, extending his lead at the top of the table to five points. He defeated world champion Littler, as well as home favorite Michael van Gerwen and Josh Rock, to claim the top spot at the Rotterdam Ahoy. Clayton trailed 2-0 initially but made a remarkable comeback, taking three legs straight to gain the lead. He later sealed the win with a clutch 78 outshot, despite Littler's strong start. Littler had opened with an 11-darter and followed with a break of throw, but Clayton's resilience paid off. The Welshman joked about Littler's potential revenge, saying, 'I'm not going to say anything because Littler will come back and beat me up.' Clayton praised Littler, stating, 'He's got everything that every other player wishes for. He's got that attitude, he's got the throw, he's got the mentality.' Littler bolstered his chances of a Play-Off spot by making his fourth final in seven weeks, moving up to 24 points in the standings. The Premier League Darts competition continues, with the next event taking place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, where the race for the Play-Offs intensifies.
