Hull KR Thrash Toulouse, Leigh Secure Crucial Win Over York
Hull KR dominated Toulouse with a resounding 46-0 victory in the Betfred Super League, scoring eight tries to secure their third consecutive win. The visitors took an early lead through Elliot Minchella and never looked back, with Rhyse Martin, Tyrone May, Dean Hadley, and Joe Burgess all contributing to the rout. Toulouse's struggles continued as they conceded a fifth try, with Mikey Lewis and Jez Litten combining to extend the lead. Peta Hiku's intercept try and Jai Whitbread's score sealed the win, while Joe Burgess added his second try to round off a dismal evening for the hosts. Meanwhile, Leigh bounced back from a slump with a hard-fought 18-6 win over York. Adrian Lam's side had won just one of their last four matches but returned to winning ways at the LNER Community Stadium. Gareth O'Brien and Xavier Va'a traded first-half tries before Adam Cook's penalty put the visitors ahead. Josh Charnley and Jacob Alick-Wiencke crossed in the second half to help Leigh grind out victory and climb to 10th in the table.
