Conor Benn has stated that a WBC title fight against Ryan Garcia is his top priority, but he's also being pursued by other prominent boxers eager for a match. Benn recently signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing after defeating Regis Prograis on the Tyson Fury bill at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. As the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title, Benn believes he has numerous options for his next fight. 'Getting the Garcia fight done is the priority, but I have plenty of other options,' Benn said.
'There are many fighters calling me out, big names wanting to face me.' Benn's recent victory over Prograis has drawn attention, with many fighters now seeking to challenge him. 'It's amusing to see fighters calling me out after my win over Prograis, when they were silent after my rematch against Chris Eubank Jr,' Benn noted. Zuffa Boxing's head, Dana White, is open to arranging a 'fun' fight between Benn and Garcia, and the organization has also signed former WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith.
