Promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed that Anthony Joshua has received the contract for his highly anticipated fight against Tyson Fury, but may take a warm-up bout in July before the November showdown. Fury has already signed for the all-British mega fight and recently issued a challenge to Joshua following his victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov.
However, Joshua's commitment to the fight remains uncertain due to his recent involvement in a car accident in Nigeria, which resulted in the deaths of his friends. Hearn stated that Joshua is nearing full recovery and is expected to return to the ring in July, with a potential fight against Deontay Wilder. The plan is for Joshua to face Wilder and then Fury in back-to-back fights, although Wilder's camp claims that no discussions have taken place yet.
