Conor Benn Eyes WBC Title Fight with Ryan Garcia, But Other Big-Name Opponents Are Also Vying for a Bout

Conor Benn has stated that a WBC title fight with Ryan Garcia is his top priority, but he has warned Garcia that other prominent fighters are now eager to face him. Benn recently signed a multi-year, multi-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing and marked his debut with the company by defeating Regis Prograis. As the mandatory challenger for Garcia's WBC welterweight title, Benn believes he has numerous options and is not limited to just one opponent. 'Of course, the Garcia fight is the priority, but I have plenty of other options,' Benn said. 'There are many big-name fighters calling me out, and if Ryan doesn't want the fight, there are plenty of other opportunities available.' Benn has been amused by the reaction to his recent points victory over Prograis, with many fighters now calling him out after previously being silent. He attributed this to his impressive performance at 150lbs and his ability to go the distance with a two-time world champion. Zuffa Boxing head Dana White is open to making a 'fun' fight between Benn and Garcia, and the company has also announced the signing of former WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith.
