Hollie Doyle: Wareeth in Prime Condition Ahead of Classic Trial
Ambassador Hollie Doyle is set to ride in three events at Southwell on Saturday, broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing. She is also looking forward to the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket with Archie Watson's promising colt Wareeth. Wareeth has been entered in the Listed bet365 Feilden Stakes, a key Classic trial, after an impressive debut in a mile Newcastle novice, where he drew clear of his rivals to win by 14 lengths. Doyle feels Wareeth is fresh and well ahead of the trial, and a good performance could set him up for the Group 2 Dante Stakes at York. Meanwhile, Mick Appleby's Ambishio is tipped to perform well in the Country & Western Night 25th April Handicap, having recently won at the same course and distance. Phil Kirby's Fircombe Hall is also in excellent form, with two wins in his last three starts, and Doyle is looking forward to riding him in the Come Racing For Free 18th June Handicap. Other horses to watch include Thomas Equinas, who needs to improve on his recent performances, and Dean Ivory's seven-year-old, who knows how to win on the All-Weather but faces a challenging wide draw.
