Johnston Resumes Training with Celtic, While Araujo's Season May Be Over

Alistair Johnston, who has been sidelined since October with a hamstring injury, has rejoined his Celtic teammates in training. The Canada right-back's return to fitness is a welcome boost for manager Martin O'Neill, who is preparing his side for the upcoming Scottish Premiership match against St Mirren. However, the news is less positive for loan defender Julian Araujo, who has suffered a setback in his recovery from a thigh problem. Araujo, who has been a fan favorite during his 13 appearances for Celtic, may have played his last game for the club. O'Neill expressed his disappointment, stating that Araujo's injury is a 'real blow' and that he does not expect the Mexico international to feature again this season. Meanwhile, right-back Colby Donovan will miss Saturday's game with a hamstring injury and may also be absent for the Scottish Cup tie against St Mirren on April 19. Despite these injury concerns, O'Neill is pleased to see the Green Brigade, Celtic's ultras group, return to Celtic Park after a five-month ban. The Hoops are currently third in the Scottish Premiership, three points behind leaders Hearts, and O'Neill acknowledges that the title race is still wide open.
