Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions is poised to offer an opponent for Katie Taylor's farewell fight at Dublin's Croke Park. Having staged Taylor's last two bouts against Amanda Serrano, MVP is well-placed to provide a suitable opponent for Taylor's swansong. With the strongest women's boxing roster, MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian has suggested Caroline Dubois or the winner of Holly Holm's WBA lightweight title fight with Stephanie Han as potential opponents.
Bidarian believes the winner of Holm and Han's fight could be a logical choice for Taylor's final bout. Holm, a UFC champion and successful boxer, is now 44, while Han is a mother and full-time police officer with a compelling story. Bidarian is keen to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing to stage the event, saying he wants to 'respect' the relationship between Taylor and Matchroom. Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, which has also been mooted for Croke Park, and is instead focused on staging Taylor's final fight at the venue.
