This weekend, he'll be competing in a double-header of races in the German track's endurance series. Following the cancellation of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix, Verstappen has added the NLS4 and NLS5 races to his GT3 schedule. He'll be teaming up with seasoned endurance driver Lucas Auer, nephew of former F1 driver Gerhard Berger, in the Mercedes-AMG GT3 car, adorned in Red Bull livery, as part of Verstappen Racing. They'll be competing against a 37-strong GT3 field at the notorious 'Green Hell' in the latest rounds of the Nurburgring Langstrecken-Serie. On his return to NLS action last month, he and his teammates, driving the Mercedes, secured a first-place finish but were later disqualified due to exceeding the allowed tyre allocation.
