Dan Skelton Hails 'Unbelievable' Achievement as Champion Trainer

Dan Skelton has expressed his elation after securing the champion trainer title, having dominated the season from the outset. With a current total of £4,762,920 in prize money, Skelton has become the first trainer to break the £4million barrier. He attributed his success to the hard work and dedication of his team, as well as the support of the owners. Skelton's achievement marks a significant milestone, having been narrowly pipped to the title by Willie Mullins in the previous two seasons. This year, however, Skelton has cemented his position at the top, with Mullins conceding defeat after the Grand National. Skelton's team has enjoyed a remarkable season, with six winners at the Grand National Festival, including Grade One victories with Grey Dawning, Mirabad, and Bossman Jack. The champion trainer will receive his trophy at Sandown Park on April 25.
