Liverpool Set to Take Risks Against PSG

Liverpool manager Arne Slot believes his team can achieve something special when they host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League quarter-final second leg. Despite a 2-0 first-leg defeat, Slot is confident that his team can turn the tie around. Slot reminded his players that the scoreline was only 2-0 and that they have shown great performances in big games this season. However, he acknowledged that playing against the European champions makes the task more complicated, but not impossible. When asked about his team's setup, Slot admitted that they would have to take risks to get the ball off PSG. He stated that his approach would not be vastly different from the first leg, where they pressed high on multiple occasions. However, this led to several one-on-one situations with the goalkeeper. Slot emphasized the need to find a balance between being offensive and defensive, as both teams want to have possession of the ball. He noted that in the first leg, PSG had the ball for 76% of the time, which Liverpool needs to change in the second leg. Meanwhile, midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai played down a recent incident with Liverpool fans, describing it as a 'misunderstanding.' He apologized if his actions were misinterpreted and stated that he and the team will do everything to battle back against PSG. Szoboszlai expressed his desire to stage a comeback and give their best performance.
