Red Bull Revamps Technical Team with Key Appointments

In a bid to bolster its technical capabilities, Red Bull has unveiled a series of key appointments and changes within its department. Ben Waterhouse, a veteran team member since 2017, has been promoted to chief performance and design engineer, overseeing design and vehicle performance. This move aims to foster greater integration between these areas and accelerate the development of high-performing solutions. Meanwhile, Andrea Landi will join the team from Racing Bulls as head of performance on July 1, bringing with him a wealth of experience, including his tenure as deputy technical director at Racing Bulls and deputy head of vehicle performance at Ferrari. Landi will report to Waterhouse. These changes underscore Red Bull's commitment to nurturing internal talent while attracting top expertise from the sport. The team has faced a challenging start to the new F1 era, currently sitting sixth in the Constructors' Championship, and has seen several key staff members depart for rival teams in recent years. The Miami Grand Prix, the season's second Sprint weekend, is set to take place on May 1-3, live on Sky Sports F1.
