In a social media video, Benn stated, 'Garcia, keep my belt warm! I want my belt, and I'm ready for the fight in September.' Garcia, who won the WBC welterweight title in February, has accepted the challenge, saying, 'I'm down, let's do it.' Benn's win over Prograis, which improved his record to 25-1, took place at a catchweight of 3lb above the welterweight limit. With his sights set on Garcia, Benn is now preparing to move down to 147lb for the title fight.
