Satisfy Your Need for Speed on Sky Sports Despite F1's April Hiatus

Although the Formula 1 season is currently on a break, motor racing enthusiasts can still catch plenty of live action on Sky Sports F1 throughout April. The channel will broadcast various racing events and categories, providing an exciting lineup of track activities over the next couple of weekends, both on TV and YouTube. This weekend, Max Verstappen is set to compete in the Nurburgring Endurance Series, with two races scheduled - one on Saturday and another on Sunday. Following his disqualification from the NLS2 race last month due to a tyre infringement, Verstappen, a four-time world champion, will also participate in the iconic Nordschleife 24 Hours in May. Additionally, viewers can look forward to the latest round of the IndyCar season, as well as historic racing events from Goodwood and Monaco. The 2026 IndyCar Series will continue on Sky Sports F1, with round five taking place in Long Beach, California. The event will feature practice sessions, qualifying, warm-up, and the race itself, all of which will be broadcast from the famous street track. As the 24-hour showpiece event in May approaches, an NLS double-header will take place at the Nurburgring, with both races streaming on YouTube. Verstappen will join forces with Lucas Auer, nephew of former Ferrari and McLaren driver Gerhard Berger, in their Red Bull-liveried Mercedes GT3 car. Furthermore, the 83rd Goodwood Members' Meeting will feature 13 races with historic machinery from various decades, as well as demonstration laps by Jenson Button in his 2009 title-winning Brawn car and a tribute to James Hunt 50 years after his 1976 title win. The following week, historic racing from Monaco's famous street circuit will be broadcast, featuring cars from the pre-war Grand Prix era to the mid-1980s. The events will take place on Saturday, April 25, 7:10am, and Sunday, April 26, 6:55am. Formula 1 will return on May 1-3 with the Miami Grand Prix, the season's second Sprint weekend, live on Sky Sports F1.
