Usyk Trains Joshua to Overcome Fury: 'AJ Will Emerge Victorious'

Oleksandr Usyk has pledged to assist Anthony Joshua in defeating Tyson Fury. Joshua, a former world champion who lost to the Ukrainian twice, has joined Usyk's training camp. Usyk has welcomed Joshua, stating, 'We support each other, work together, and have a great time. We've transitioned from rivals to friends.' As a two-weight, three-time undisputed world champion, Usyk is well-equipped to advise Joshua on facing Fury. Usyk expressed confidence in Joshua, saying, 'I believe AJ will triumph over my friend Fury.' Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, revealed that negotiations are progressing for a potential fight between Joshua and Fury this year. Usyk may even be in Joshua's corner for the fight. Hearn noted that training with Usyk has significantly improved Joshua's performance. Usyk is preparing for his own fight against Rico Verhoeven on May 23 and remains focused on the upcoming bout, stating, 'Now I have focus only on Rico, then we discuss future plans.'
