Authorities arrested and charged a 47-year-old individual, Mark Mogan, who denied the allegations in court. A trial is set to take place on April 22. The Premier League has condemned the latest incident, stating, 'We are appalled at the unacceptable online racist abuse targeted at Antoine Semenyo and have offered our support to the player and club.' The league emphasized that racism has no place in football or society and will work with relevant parties to address this issue. The FA has also expressed its support for Semenyo and reiterated its commitment to combating racism. Both organizations have vowed to impose severe consequences on individuals found guilty of discrimination, including imprisonment, football banning orders, and criminal records.
