Jake Paul's MVP Could Provide Opponent for Katie Taylor's Final Fight

Katie Taylor's potential final career bout at Dublin's Croke Park may feature an opponent provided by Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions. MVP has previously staged Taylor's last two contests against Amanda Serrano. As Taylor, an Olympic gold medalist and two-weight undisputed champion, prepares for her swansong, MVP's strong roster in women's boxing could yield the ideal opponent. Nakisa Bidarian, MVP co-founder, has suggested Caroline Dubois as a potential opponent for Taylor's last dance. Alternatively, the winner of the WBA lightweight title fight between Holly Holm and Stephanie Han could also be a suitable contender. Bidarian noted, 'I could envision a scenario where the winner of Holly and Stephanie fights Katie Taylor in her last fight. That's also very logical to me.' Holm, a 44-year-old UFC champion, will face Han, a mother and full-time police officer, in the title fight. Bidarian expressed his desire to collaborate with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing, which represents Taylor, to stage the Croke Park event. 'In partnership with Matchroom, absolutely. I don't want to ever overstep that relationship because they've worked together her entire career and I think to Katie's credit she's always been loyal to them, whether she's in contract with them or not, and we want to respect that. It's only bigger if we do it together,' Bidarian said. Hearn has ruled out Taylor boxing on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, also proposed for Croke Park. 'If [Fury vs Joshua] takes place in November, it won't be outdoors in Dublin and so therefore we just want to move forward with Katie Taylor,' Hearn stated.
