Following an impressive eight-win streak, Nicky Richards is set to field three horses at Hexham for Monday's National Hunt action. Jamesieconn, chasing a fourth consecutive victory, will be representing the in-form Richards team, who have enjoyed a remarkable spring with eight straight wins. Having demonstrated a preference for the three-mile distance and good ground with a recent win at Carlisle, Jamesieconn has been raised 5lbs to a mark of 100, which may prove to be a challenge. Nevertheless, it would not be surprising if Danny McMenamin's mount rises to the occasion once again. Streamsforth Lad, despite placing in various events, is yet to secure a win but has shown improvement recently, and Stuart Coltherd's Rightbackatyou will be seeking to build on his previous performance over the same course and distance. Nicky Richards will also be sending out Young Getaway for his chasing debut, where he will face That One, who is making a similar debut over fences. The latter will benefit from Jack Power's 5lbs claim, bringing his mark down to a competitive 105. The combination of Lucinda Russell and Michael Scudamore will be represented by Heads Or Harps and Choose A Copper, with the former having been consistently placing in recent events. Grant Wood, trained by Paul Midgley, returns to Gosforth Park, where he has enjoyed previous success, while Wicket Keeper and Paddy's Day will also be in action, with the latter wearing a tongue-tie for the first time under Nigel Tinkler. Albasheer, a past winner of the Constantine Handicap, will be ridden by Sky Sports Racing ambassador Hollie Doyle, and Gardener will be seeking to follow up on his recent win over the course and distance in the Happy Retirement Maurice & Anne Barnes Handicap Hurdle.
