Alcaraz will face hometown hero Valentin Vacherot in the semifinals, who saved 13 break points before defeating Alex de Minaur 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 in front of a roaring crowd, becoming the first Monegasque player to reach the semifinals at Monte Carlo.
